Tomorrow's THE day. Our departure is planned for 10 o'clock so that we can start our trip at 11 o'clock. I had a lot of fun with packing my suitcase and buying new things which still were on my 'What I need for my summer vacation'-list. I bought a nice book and a great newspaper, I am really excited for reading them both and of course I am really happy about my annual vacation-soundtrack with artists like The tallest man on earth and Kakkmaddafakka, New Order and the German songwriter Bosse.

So much stuff to put into such a small suitcase.. But I got it!

I really like to show you some new items in my wardrobe and now in my suitcase. The following pieces are the special ones in my suitcase and the ones I really am in love with.
I bought this amazing Levi's 501 High Waist Shorts in an online thriftshop and these shorts became my favorite ones really fast! They fit so well, and they have such a nice color, I just can't believe it!

Last week I've been in Hamburg, on a class trip. Of course we had some sightseeing and we took a boat trip through the port, but in the end everyone was most excited about the shopping we were going to do. I was successful and I am really happy with my first new bralet from Gilly Hicks. It is really beautiful: it is colored in navy and covered with little white flowers. I love it!

In Brittany weather suddenly can change from sunny and warm to really stormy and cold, so next to all the beautiful, light summer clothes every Brittany tourist or native needs a really good jacket, protecting him or her from the strong wind, the heavy rain and the waves. I found this coat in the attic, it's the one from my grandpa. He wore it on his journeys through the mountains and during his time of participating in bike races in france. I am really proud of my grandpa and I am much more proud to wear this coat which has been all over the world.

And of course there is a pair of shoes that can't stay home: I nearly wear it at every time and everywhere. Vans-lovers will understand me if I say: they're a part of my life, they belong with me and they support me in everything I do: dancing, writing, riding my fixie, singing... They are without words. I love them.

Because I have always needed much to read, especially when I am traveling, I bought some books with a deeper sense and texts who are a bit more challenging than the books I use to read normally. John Green is one of my favorite authors and I can't wait for reading his new book 'The fault in our stars'. I also thought it might be great to have a classic with me and I chose 'The little prince' from Antoine Saint-Exupéry. This actually is one of my favorite books, but I until now, I just have read it in french, reading it in german this summer will be my first time.
The Newspaper I take with me is the german edition of 'The Times'. It is my favorite newspaper, special, critical and really interesting at the same time. In the last edition of 'The Times' in Germany, there was an extra booklet about philosophy. I kept reading it for my time in france.

Well, I think I could spend my whole summerbreak with showing you what I will take with me to France but I think I will just show you the content of my hand baggage, which I really had to contrive the whole day long.

I am done with packing and arranging everything. I am so glad to leave this messy little village with all it's strange people. I feel it in my legs and in my fingers. Wanderlust is back again, stronger than before and I can't describe the feeling of being able to travel again. Finally, my mind is given free from school pressure and all the stupid society things around me. The next two weeks I am going to spend on and island in sea, far away from problems and the bad things which happen these days on our planet earth. I will have time to read and to think a lot about my love and the relationship. I will have the opportunity to find myself and I promise, I will do my very best.

The day after tomorrow I will blog again, but the tomorrow is a day filled up with traveling without a W-LAN around me. I will post pictures and inspirations from one of the most beautiful and peaceful places on earth soon.

I wish you all a good night and sweet dreams!

The best place to plan anything and everything

... is my bed. This is how my evening looks like: a soft and cozy cropped pullover, my sleeping pants in the color of young roses, some hot tea and a few cookies, and of course something to read. This time it's one of my favorite books, it's such a beautiful and honest story about growing up, love and the art of living - 'Looking for Alaska' by John Green.

Cuddling in bed and thinking about tomorrow I munch my cookies and I am happy. Tomorrow the 'Packing-my-suitcase'-marathon begins and I still have to go for a shopping and buy some things for my vacation in France. I am planning and organising and afraid of forgetting anything super-important. Is there anybody with just the same problems? I guess no...
Are you already on your summerbreak? Or are you (just like me) excited about the feeling to live the last few days of school? You'll see: these few days will pass so much faster you had expected!
Enjoy them, enjoy every single days of your life, just as long as you're all young.

Good night to the itchy-feeted ones out there!

Shopping list for my France vacation

Hey to everybody enjoying the last hours of this beautiful weekend!

There are still some things missing in my suitcase. I already did a list which you can see below and on Wednesday, me and my friend are going to buy everything which is still left. This really reminds me of this game we played in kindergarten: 'I am packing my suitcase...'
I need a skirt, a dress, a crop top, my two favorite books, sandals, a necklace, a new belt, a beautiful vintage suitcase, new Ray Ban Clubmasters, my Clinique concealer, my Chanel body moisturizer, a new nail polish, and some new awesome earrings. :-)

France

Have a nice sunday evening,

Summerbreak coming closer and closer...

Summerbreak is so close, I already can smell it and taste it. Everyone is talking about his or her plans for those six weeks of love, life and freedom. There are loads and loads of festivals and partys which  have to be rocked, so many waves which have to be surfed, you won't be able to count the amount of lovestorys which will be created so soon just because of summer's magic.
While summerbreak is coming closer and closer, something else is not far away anymore: my first journey I will document on this blogg. I will write about packing my luggage, the travelling to my destination and about everyday I'll spend there. I am pretty sure this is going to be amazing, the very the location of my summerbreak. Today I will disclose the secret of my destination, it's located in Europe, famous for amazing food and wine, for its coasts and beaches and especially for its captitol:

France.

More precisely, on an island of Brittany, in the north west of France. This island is called 'Belle ile en mer' which means 'Beautiful Island in the sea'. This Name says everything about the island.  I will stay in a beautiful house 500 meters afar from the beach, surrounded by green hills and lushy meadows. There will be two weeks for singing, making music, walking, running, thinking, drawing and speaking the most beautiful language in this huge world.
The island is tiny and quiet, it seems like it is full of secrets and a lot of lovely places. The people in Brittany are special and have a really interesting history and I am already excited to meet some of the natives. The day after tomorrow, I will post my package list, with everything I will take with me on my journey.

Have a nice weekend and keep your feet itchy!
