Today the magic moment I am always looking forward to after finishing my vacation occured. On every trip, every journey, I take my really good old analog reflex camera with me. The best pictures I ever took come from that camera. It's a Minolta, which is the old name for todays SONY. For me, it is just amazing to uncover the secret about how good the light and the camera worked together and form some gorgeous fotos. Well, this afternoon, I went to the photographer who usually takes care for my camera and photography arts and problems and took the fotos from my France vacation with me.
And... Oh, my gosh! They've become astonishing, brilliant and beautiful. It's (as always) just the way the camera catches the light, the little reflections..
To make a long story short: I thought it would be great to show them to you. Just for sharing the art and the beauty of the nature in France and on Belle ile en mer. So here you are, the vintage touched fotos from my SLR.
I hope you like them. I love them. Tell me what you guys think about the pictures, if you like to. I would enjoy!
I am so sorry I haven't been writing for such a long time... shame on me. I am home again, for one week right now and everything's going it's normal way. Breakfast, running, meeting friends, loving, partying... and stupid summerbreak things like this.
I have many things to tell you, especially about the end of my vacation in beautiful France. I realized that this trip was the best one I had since I started traveling. So much good music, food. So many amazing and kind people. So much to feel and so many things I could think about. I think this is, what made the time in France so perfect: it was devilishly inspirational. There are a lot more items in my notebook now.
And of course I did some shopping. When I started to pack my luggage, I thought it might be god to take fotos of my shopping treasures so I could show you.. Well, here they are.
I bought two magazines: SEAFOLLY and GLAMOUR. The magazine SEAFOLLY is actually a catalog for the beautifuk bikinis and bathing suits from the brand SEAFOLLY.
Reading both magazines was really good for practising and testing my french. So: yes, there are nice and interesting ways to learn a new language.
This is a shirt I bought in a shop for sailing appendage. It is super soft and so beautiful! The shirt is a bit short, like a crop top and it fits really well to my pastel jeans and my bond hair. It's from a brand located on Belle ile en mer named Rone libre.
♥
Finally, this is my favorite new item in my wardrobe... some beautiful sandals from Les Tropeziennes. This is a brand of shoes only available in France. I love them! There are so light and chic, they fit to every outfit.
♥
It took pretty long time to pack everything and in the end I needed help to close my luggage. But I got it! And after a really sad goodbye, we left the beautiful island in the sea Belle ile en mer. France was amazing. France was beautiful. And I will come back, I promise.
I wanted to do a small summary about my time in France, so I prepared some pictures for you. The best soundtrack for looking at the pictures is the song La mer from Charles Trenet. So heres a little link for you to open and enjoy the music with the pictures.
Summerbreak France 2013
So, this is my collection of my favorite pictures from France. I will always remember the time I spend there as an inspirational and beautiful enrichment. I think I will go on posting some pictures from France in the next months anyway, but with this post, I let my journey in France end. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I think I will always stay a girl from the sea. There's nothing making me happier than the sea does.
Countless kisses and hugs from your traveling girl, with blond wind- and sunkissed hair and skin, with a heart which fell in love with every place on earth expect from the place she has to stay at.
I just returned from an intensive short time run and I am at the end of my rope. I am longing for a cold shower, but before I will refresh myself, I want to share an easy recipe for an after-work-out-snack. I call this super tasty snack
Runner's Rocket fuel
All you need is:
1 Banana
250 gr yogurt
1 Teaspoon of Honey
Dark chocolate
1 First of all, cut the banana into slices. Do the same with the chocolate.
2 For the next step, fill the yogurt in a bowl...
... add the banana slices ...
... add chocolate chips ...
... and finally put some honey over the banana-chocolate-yogurt.
Done! ♥ This is my recipe for the Runner's Rocket fuel snack. It's full of energy and a great after-workout-snack. Hope you like it, try it out! See you tonight, xoxo, wanderlust
After a long day of relaxing and most of the time doing nothing, and a really nice dinner, we decided to go for a walk. The sun came out after we finished eating and we could imagine how nice finishing the day at the beach would be. So we took the little trail through the forrest and the dunes down to the next beach, which is called Plage d'Herlin. The beach is the one of the town of Herlin. We took our dog with us and had a lot of fun. The wind was stronger than it was in the morning hours and we saw a few big waves, crushing at the cliffs - which is always really impressive, especially at the atlantic ocean.
If you have asked yourself what kind of supercute sweetheart this is: she's my dog, her name is Alela and she is 2 years old. She is a PON, a Polski Owczarek Nicinny. Decades ago, this dog breed's duty was herding sheeps, and today this is still usually in Poland. And if you live with Alela, you can still feel and see in the way she behaves, she tries to herd the family.
I love her and I am looking forward to every day I am going to spend with her. ♥
Something else I really like about the Brittany: the colors. Just the way the gold of the wheat fields, the aquamarine waves, the ocher cliffs and the emerald green forests assemble to one beautiful color mixture... I might exaggerate a little bit on this point, but for me, it seems as if every look I take at the nature is like a beneficence, a total satisfaction for my cones. And I glory in every second of it.
The weather is going to change for the next ten days - into sunshine from morning to night with 28°C everyday. Seems as if summer finally dares to come out of his senseless ambush, doesn't it? Anyway, I am looking forward to another sunny, beautiful day of freedom at the atlantic ocean.
