An Evening at the Plage d'Herlin

After a long day of relaxing and most of the time doing nothing, and a really nice dinner, we decided to go for a walk. The sun came out after we finished eating and we could imagine how nice finishing the day at the beach would be. So we took the little trail through the forrest and the dunes down to the next beach, which is called Plage d'Herlin. The beach is the one of the town of Herlin. We took our dog with us and had a lot of fun. The wind was stronger than it was in the morning hours and we saw a few big waves, crushing at the cliffs - which is always really impressive, especially at the atlantic ocean.

If you have asked yourself what kind of supercute sweetheart this is: she's my dog, her name is Alela and she is 2 years old. She is a PON, a Polski Owczarek Nicinny. Decades ago, this dog breed's duty was herding sheeps, and today this is still usually in Poland. And if you live with Alela, you can still feel and see in the way she behaves, she tries to herd the family.
I love her and I am looking forward to every day I am going to spend with her.

Something else I really like about the Brittany: the colors. Just the way the gold of the wheat fields, the aquamarine waves, the ocher cliffs and the emerald green forests assemble to one beautiful color mixture... I might exaggerate a little bit on this point, but for me, it seems as if every look I take at the nature is like a beneficence, a total satisfaction for my cones. And I glory in every second of it.

The weather is going to change for the next ten days - into sunshine from morning to night with 28°C everyday. Seems as if summer finally dares to come out of his senseless ambush, doesn't it? Anyway, I am looking forward to another sunny, beautiful day of freedom at the atlantic ocean.

Sweet dreams,

xoxo, wanderlust
